Passwords and Property

PASSWORDS/ACCOUNTS

 

If possible get a list of all accounts and passwords, and change all passwords and/or delete accounts:

  • Individual computer

    • Reassign password to authorized staff member

    • Google accounts

    • DocuSign

    • LogMeIn or other remote access software

    • Social media - Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc.

    • Parish/school website

    • Parish Soft

    • Canva, Spotify, or other "ministry tool" apps/accounts.

    • Connect Now

      • Work with DOSP to lock out unauthorized people and assign temporary passwords as needed.

    • Paylocity

      • Work with DOSP to lock out unauthorized people and assign temporary passwords as needed.

    • Other computers/accounts the employee had access

 

EMPLOYEE OWNED DEVICES

  • Remove all organizational data from these devices

  • HR/Supervisor observes the user deleting email accounts from their phone

COMPANY-OWNED PROPERTY

Be certain to collect from the employee all company-owned property, including but not limited to:

  • Laptop

  • Tablets

  • Cell phones

  • USB drives

  • Security Key

  • Keys - label all keys

  • ID Card

  • Business cards

  • Nameplate

  • Name badge

  • Company-owned property in your possession at home

Require terminated employee to sign a document confirming that all property has been returned to the organization.
